Healing in the Mountains

Leela had been diagnosed with a chronic illness that no treatment seemed to cure. Her health had deteriorated to a point where doctors advised her to live life to the fullest with the little time she had left. Heartbroken, she decided to embark on one final spiritual journey to Tiruvannamalai, the sacred place of Arunachala. She had heard stories of Girivalam, a pilgrimage around the holy mountain believed to cleanse the soul and bring divine blessings.

With hope flickering like a dying candle, she walked barefoot around the mountain, chanting prayers at each temple along the way. As she completed the 14-kilometer trek, something shifted inside her. Her pain subsided, and a new sense of peace enveloped her. A week later, her regular doctor’s appointment brought miraculous news—her condition had improved drastically. The doctors couldn’t explain it, but Leela knew it was the grace of Lord Arunachaleshwara. Her faith had healed her body and soul.
