A Mother’s Prayer

Ravi was a troubled young man who had fallen into bad company. Drugs and crime had led him to stray from the righteous path. His mother, Shanti, spent sleepless nights praying for her son, begging for divine intervention to save him. In her despair, she heard of Girivalam at Tiruvannamalai and decided to undertake the pilgrimage, fasting and walking barefoot for her son’s redemption.

As she completed the pilgrimage, she left her prayers at the feet of Arunachala, surrendering to the will of God. A month later, Ravi returned home, a changed man. He had been through a near-death experience that shook him to the core, forcing him to reflect on his choices. He confessed everything to his mother and vowed to start a new life. Shanti knew in her heart that her unwavering faith had guided her son back to her.
